OOC Experience

It's my first to time to be a part of an online course. There were some initial struggles, such as time constraints. I had to find some balance between work and the OOC.
At some point, I had been forced to make a decision and prioritize my job. I had to because this school year I was given a class advisory load. Never been one since I started teaching. I've always been a subject teacher and the School Publication Adviser; and so I had to give those areas of my career more time.
Of course, I still regret being unable to take a quiz. But still there is a learning experience to be had.
Nevertheless, it was fun. What I know of and experience in ODL in the midst of a pandemic is the teaching end. Now having been part of Silliman's Upskilling Online Teaching, I got to see the other end: to be an ODL learner.
And it's fascinating to have classmates from other regions. Through this OOC, we were able to interact with fellow Filipino teachers from different parts of the country. I believe that's one of the beauties of ODL.
